If you want help on how to learn forex trading then there are a number of different ways that you can begin your forex trading career:
Learn by experience
A lot of people choose this route. It's easy to download a copy of Metatrader and open a demo account. You're not risking any of your own money when you start this way and it's actually an excellent way to learn, especially when you couple it with some of the other methods shown below. There's actually no substitute for using the software that you're going to be running on a day to day basis to place your forex trades.
Read up on the subject
Knowledge is power. It's your choice whether your reading material is found online or in a book or report. Some sites will give you an overview of the different trading methods such as technical analysis, news trading or following chart patterns. Others will give you help with your money management. The thing is not to take any one site or author as "gospel" but instead to use them to begin to form your own forex trading ideas and methods.
Go on a forex course
These are run by lots of different people. When you're deciding on a Forex course, you will need to consider whether it's completely theoretical or whether there will be live sessions as well. If the course is being run over a weekend, you won't get any live sessions as the markets will be closed. Which means that you may well be able to get near enough the same information from a DVD training set, the only real difference being the chance to interact with fellow traders attending the course. On the other hand, if the course is being run while the markets are open you should get a chance to see how the theory being taught is put into practice in real, live, forex market trading.
Get a self study course
There are lots of self study Forex training products - everything from DVDs through to courses that you can read on your Amazon Kindle device. If you have the discipline to follow through on these, they are a great way to learn forex trading from experts who would charge you a small fortune for the same advice face to face.
